We’ll have live music from the Blue Dirt Band under the tent (rain or shine) and food including pulled-pork sandwiches and chips. Tickets are $5 beforehand or $8 at the door and can be pre-purchased here on the website or by calling 231-271-1188. Wine by-the-glass will be available for $5-$8.

Eric Grossnickle, DesignerOn the Friday and Saturday nights of the July 4th weekend, Eye In Queue (Neil Peplinski and Aaron Netsell) played some great live music here at the winery. What we didn’t know is that they had written a song about the winery on their drive up and played it a few times for us. Well, we love it and, luckily, recorded video of it; they also recorded a studio version of it after they returned home. Thanks again to Eye In Queue for coming out and for what will become our theme song, “45 North Blues”! Watch the video and download the studio version below:

This weekend, Eye in Queue (Neil Peplinski & Aaron Netsell) will be playing live at the winery on Friday, July 2 from 4-6pm and Saturday, July 3 from 4-7pm. They’ll be playing an electric/acoustic mix of various songs off their albums as well as some cover tunes. Stay tuned for more details coming mid-week. No more of this old stuff.” The steward responsed, “Oui”, and once out of sight, Navin continues, “He doesn’t realize he’s dealing with sophisticated people here.”
Obviously I’m dealing with a sophisticated audience of wine aficienados and would like to delve into the entire wine tasting experience and how it can be taken to a new level.
